ChatGPT's Impact On Our Brains According to an MIT Study The study, from MIT Lab scholars, measured the brain activity of subjects writing SAT essays with and without ChatGPT.

Thought of you the other day when a student argued why I should allow them to use AI for their unit planning (suggesting I was not with the times) and I sent them your Edutopia article along with the MIT study time.com/7295195/ai-c...

AI-Generated β€œWorkslop” Is Destroying Productivity Despite a surge in generative AI use across workplaces, most companies are seeing little measurable ROI. One possible reason is because AI tools are being used to produce β€œworkslop”—content that appea...

Stanford researchers found that AI-generated "workslop" is actually making people less productive, in part because workers have to correct errors or decode the useful information/intent buried in a flood of auto-generated garbage:

Mom had a stroke and contracted it in ICU and we all got it. I tested positive for just a week. Much easier than my case in 2021. Dad tested + for 8-9 days, negative, then post-Paxlovid rebound like your wife. I think he tested positive over a 2-week window. Hope everyone feels better soon!

We just went through this as well. I didn’t test positive until day 4 of symptoms (4 tests).

I think it’s high time we take back the national narrative. For centuries Americans of all races, genders, religions, and abilities have worked to create a more perfect union, and we should shout from the rooftops that WE are America. Not these idiot white supremacist authoritarians.

And after years of dangerous, anti-vax rhetoric, there is little demand for covid vaccines at all. Yesterday I got my daughter boosted before going back to school. In a CVS located in a large, urban shopping center, the pharmacist said they’re throwing out more doses than they give.

Thanks for sharing. We’ve been masking since 2020 & my husband contracted Covid via his eyes when someone blew their nose walking past him 🀒 as he was wearing an N95. I was quarantined in a small hospital room for 10 days with a Covid patient, even sleeping in a mask. Sometimes it’s just bad luck.

Need for awareness and surveillance of long-term post-COVID neurodegenerative disorders. A position paper from the neuroCOVID‐19 task force of the European Academy of Neurology

I had symptoms for 4 solid days and only on the 4th test did it show as positive. I still believe in testing but I don’t trust a negative test. If I have Covid-like symptoms, I mask around my family and assume I have it. (We still mask in public).

~50% of covid infections are asymptomatic. A neighbor just had β€œcovid toes” and surgery but thought he’d never had covid. Covid reactivates dormant viruses too so I wonder if we’re seeing more illness for that reason as well.
