Improving breast cancer creening with AI Microsoft and partners developed an AI model for breast cancer screening that boosts accuracy and trust, as detailed in a new Radiology study.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women worldwide. AI is quickly becoming a valuable tool for radiologists to improve detection accuracy. These models don’t simply give a positive or negative result; they provide visual explanations of their analysis—a major step forward for detection.
