The last few weeks have made one thing alarmingly clear: the Trump government is willing to cross lines we never imagined, all in a relentless pursuit of power and profit, while ignoring the will of the American people. Between the federal budget bill that carves up our healthcare and food assistance (not to mention a dozen more awful policies included in their irresponsible budget), horrific attacks and raids on families in our communities by ICE, deploying the military into American cities this week, and today’s assault on a sitting U.S. Senator, we are far past the promises and norms of an American democracy. However, this harrowing reality we find ourselves in is not a forgone conclusion. Republicans and Democrats — and everyone in between — must find the courage to challenge these actions and stand up for our nation. Now, I ask that you show up. Please protest peacefully. Please be prepared and know your rights. Take care of one another. Continue to demonstrate and voice that this is NOT OKAY. They must learn that they will be met with resistance at every turn.

Republicans have fought us at every turn to throw out these votes. But today we won for our clients--DSCC and DCCC--and PA voters.
