Making some footless kilt hose for my husband. Working on adjusting Earth Mama Legwarmers pattern by Wolf&Faun Knits to fit his leg and my chosen yarn.

Chaos knitting! No pattern, no rules, just winging it. My hat turned out a little more gnome-like than I intended, but it is soft and warm. Finally, I did something with a bulky weight alpaca yarn that had been sitting in my stash.

Medium brown fine alpaca single on a spinning wheel bobbin

Some alpaca fiber that I am currently spinning. Just a single at the moment, but I think it wants to be a 3-ply yarn.

I have, but I find that I have to choose more robust spindles to take with me or I worry too much about breaking a tip. I have had good luck with taking my knitting on air travel, but usually take wooden needles just in case.

There is a perfectly good heated waterer that automatically refills between the ladies’ and boys’ paddocks, accessible to everyone. The boys love it. The ladies prefer to just stare at a frozen bucket, then at the house, then the bucket again. Sigh. I did this to myself.
