you probably don't know this but I was a respiratory nurse for years and worked with acute covid patients from 2020-23, and me and my colleagues were worried at the time about the future of many of our patients given covid's pathology and our knowledge base of respiratory conditions -

I'm rewatching last night's All Creatures Great and Small because it made me sob so much I missed bits. What!!! an opening episode to the season!! After the disappointment of season 5 this is great, honestly.

I can't tell if the sour grapes is from entitlement, or because the fans are so shipper-pilled they can't see anything outside that and are so entrenched in that position that anything else seems like an attack, but it certainly doesn't endear anyone to their point of view.

Elendil is one of the most important figures of the Second Age. He's one half of the alliance that the show is building towards. His memory and legacy live on into the Third Age and the events of Lord of the Rings. We should know more about him at this time, for that reason!!

It's not like anyone else is being removed or demoted in importance *in the show*. There are other things going on that can be as exciting to fans as the "main" storyline. Thirty seconds of promo before the season has even finished filming is not, I promise, going to ruin the show.

The sheer volume of complaints rotating between "where's Halbrand??", "what about Haladriel??" and "what is this for when we know who keeps the show alive" was nearly overwhelming, so I have to ask - are the fans ok? Do they know that one tiny promo of one character on the show is allowed?

....which is, of course, keep yourself in your own corner with a few pals and you will have a good experience.

But I was so excited!! I was so over the moon I forgot the rule and ventured out to see what everyone else was saying - surely all good, right???
