I've spent more time mixing this song than I did playing/singing/recording/editing/fixing the damn thing.

But I did learn a whole bunch of new mixing techniques, so it's all good.

This is very good; stylistically I'd say it's a kind of gothic Folk. Lyrics would work in Black or DoomMetal as well. Very mellow and relaxed atmosphere.

In two weeks, Spoon Hammer's 'Than To Curse the Darkness' will be released.

A collection of 11 'acoustic' based songs, which is the polar opposite of the the first Spoon Hammer album from 2023 which was mostly industrial/metal/noise.

Looks like my 'acoustic' album will be out end of August. Tracks are completed and I have cover artwork.

I'd slip it out before then, but I have a vacation coming.

I've been working on that.

Soundcloud was useful at the start of social media, but now there's Bandcamp and it's possible to get music on streaming sites.

But I don't know the person you love.

It is, really.

Well, I think I'm about ready to put a wrap on the 'acoustic' EP that I've been working on since September. 11 songs completed, so it's no longer an EP 🤣.

Just need to add bass to one track and then I can look at releasing it soon.

If only there was someone that enjoyed doing these things for free. We could be best friends.

It seems that about 70% of my recording time is spent cleaning up tracks, fixing timing and comping.

On the demo of Puppets, they go back to the intro riff at the end, but it sounds lame so they did the right thing.
