I am SUCH a fan of Indian curries with rice. And so are my kids. Very satisfying, so very many variations, and they lend themselves well to being vegetarian. I typically toss in a can of chickpeas for the protein. Dals are another good choice for flavorful vegetarian meals.

I am TRYING to find a non-fiction children's book about axolotls for my youngest for xmas, but everything I'm finding is self-published by people I've never heard of, and a lot of which is clearly AI slop. Can anybody recommend a #kidlit nonfiction book about axolotls??

My birthday ink is finally done. I’ll be honest, all the shading got suuuuuper spicy after like four hours 😅.

I have a friend who has a full sleeve blackout tattoo—from her wrist to her shoulder— and my respect for her badassery has grown exponentially.

Part of what is so brilliant about how that particular scene unfolded (owing to truly excellent writing, acting, AND directing) was how accurately it captured the true mindset of colonizers.
