30 - Steampunk, please.
01.02.2026 12:04 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 029 - FFVI of course. Even though there are chances that SE might destroy the game.
BUT, I think FFV would be a great anime if they managed to keep the jokes and adapt the combat. FFII would be a good choice for a remaster.
I would say FFXV, but Nomura will do that with KH4, so meh.
28 - Hard one too. But I think my vote will go for FFBE.
FFIV with Kain is iconic. I love the meteor in FFVII.
FFVI, FFX and Tactics are great too.
FFXV would hit harder if the story was better.
27 - 19 games, including the mobile games
21 soon enough because I bought Stranger of Paradise and XIII
26 - Gilgamesh (FF7 Rebirth)
To be fair, I played the other games a good while ago. Probably got hardstuck with some FF3 DS boss, but in the other games I really do not recall having such hard time in general.
Gilgamesh otherwise..
I said before that I'm bad at the game
25 - Brave Exvius
It has a great variety of realms, cultures and settings in general, going to medieval to that steampunk magitek that I love.
I also like 7 and even the medieval from 4 and 16. They are cool.
But now that I think about it, most worlds would be really awful to live in, huh
24 - Cactuar Crush and Glide de Chocobo (FF7 Rebirth)
Not necessarily bad, but they were very difficult.
I've enjoyed most of the FF7R minigames so far. They're quite fun.
Apparently, there are a lot of minigames in FFX that people dislike too
23 - Triple Triad forgive me, but Queen's Blood
Look, you saw the disclaimer, I haven't played many games with a lot of minigames other than 7 Remake/Rebirth.
I can see why people complain about them, but I find (most) minigames fun enough
22 - Final Fantasy 4
SNES version, GBA and DS. It's a game I can always come back to.
But FF6 is not that far either.
21 - FF4 armors in general
Dark Knight Cecil, Kain and Golbez armors are awesome.
The other games generally don't have much armor, it's more about reinforced clothing.
HM: WoL and Garland armors
20 - Final Fantasy 6
Of all the games, I think this one is the least tiring.
FF1-3 are basic overall, may due to the limitations of the time, 4 is gets too crazy, 5 would make a good anime, 7 is confusing (both og and remake); the pacing of 16 isn't good, and don't even get me started on 15.
(Forgot again ๐)
19 - Cidolfus Telamon
Great character overall, I think my favorite Cid today. He's funny but not goofy, completelly capable and a great leader.
Ralph Ineson did a excelent job giving him life.
HM: Matoya, General Leo and Aranea (The best girl in FFXV)
18 - Final Fantasy 4 (DS version)
I think the DS version, specially the voices and cutscenes, gave way more meaning for a bunch of different scenes. The game actually got harder too.
I also must say that I love FF7 Remake/Rebirth and the way the story is more comprehensible now
This is a cowardly question. How to choose just one?
17 - Clash on the Big Bridge
I can't help but search for every version of this song (Record Keeper version is the best one yet).
HM: All as one, Searching for friends and Valsa di Fantastica (I'm still getting married to the sound of this)
16 - Ifrit & Meteor
Ifrit is such an iconic esper/summon throughout the games, even if he gets forgotten in the late game, overshadowed by Bahamut.
Meteor is also iconic. Risky but powerful, feels great to use.
HM: Haste, Curaga and Thundaga
15 - Bahamut (FF16)
I don't have many memories of other bosses. I also liked Ardyn and Gilgamesh in FF7 Rebirth
Completely forgot about this
14 - Rydia (FF4)
Not that I know many summoner characters from the games I've played
13 - I don't think Donald Duck is valid, so Golbez (FF4)
My man is a badass Black Mage who wears heavy armor, while also having a badass Dark Dragon summon.
Have you guys seen his Vs. lines in Dissidia? He's awesome!
Tifa & Aerith (FF7 Remake)
#Pixelart #FinalFantasy #FinalFantasyVII #ใใใ็ตต
12 - Fina (FFBE)
I wanted to say Lenna, but I don't think she can be considered a White Mage.
Rosa is just not that well-developed in either 4 or After Years
11 - Cid Highwind (FF7) and Aranea (FFXV)
Yeah, I mean the OG Cid, but I must say that I do not dislike him in Rebirth.
He might even be a different character there but, y'know, he makes me laugh so he can get a pass
10 - Black Mage, always.
But I also have a soft spot for Dragoons and Ninjas
9 - I liked FF7 Rebirth system, even if I'm awful playing it
12.01.2026 00:27 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 08 - That's a hard one.
FF7 Remake & Rebirth made a lot of scenes better. The endings from both FF15 and 16 are great too.
But I vote for the Opera from FF6
7 - Final Fantasy 5.
I would like Mobius FF more if it didn't had one of the worst gacha systems of all time.
6 - Aera Mirus (FFXV).
Bluntly stupid and dumb and betrayed Ardyn FOR ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Worst character, period.
I don't know, maybe Hojo is up there too, but at least we love to hate him, there is nothing to love about Aera
5 - Kefka Palazzo.
He's just THAT MAD y'know, like, DANCING MAD. Fr tho, this man has heavy crimes to answer for.
and honestly, I like Emperor Palamecia
4 - Celes Chere.
She's the one who gather everyone together when hope was nowhere to be found, hella strong and beautiful
(HM: Clive Rosfield, the gigachad with his Ifrit Trigger)
3 - Final Fantasy 3.
Especially the DS version - stupidly difficult and boring
2 - Final Fantasy 6.
It is the goat: every main character is developed in a meaningful way, an Opera in a SNES game, great graphics, from scenario to monsters, every main character has an iconic theme, great story and good pacing. Need I say more?
