It's not just that. I get far more engagement on bluesky than I had with 5 times the number of followers I had on X the everything app.

Nothing is real on X the everything app. Followers are mostly bots & posts are downrated if they don't suit a set narrative. It is the ultimate echo chamber.

Does it occur to you that if you want them to leave X, you should leave X? Creators will follow their audience. As long as you stay, you tether them to the platform.

I ran an experiment, simultaneously posting articles on Bluesky and X, and then testing to see how many people actually clicked and read them. The numbers on Bluesky are higher, both because the X algorithm downranks journalism, and because Bluesky attracts readers, not just shitposters.

It would be so great if Democratic elected officials started acting as if the president was trying to arrest them all, because he is.
