As well as rare Divers etc turning up on patch, that prolonged spell of wild seas from the east also produced plenty other wind-blown flotsam and jetsam, inc a buoy washed up on Buddon that originates from Northumberland...........

Highlights of a slow first week of year down the patch, a med Gull, a few GN Diver, a Woodcock, a Merlin, Peregrine, plenty thrushes (mostly Fieldfare) and this Short-eared Owl picked up about a mile out that came in off.
