These people threaten to undo 70+ years of legal liberalization that has, overall, benefited LGBTQ people, sex workers, educators, feminists, women, and anyone who wants the freedom to read, write, think, learn and consume anything sex related. Ignoring the war on porn is a dangerous proposition.

Rutherford County faces heated debate over book bans in school as 150 more titles are pulled from library shelves The book bans were initiated by board member Caleb Tidwell, who flagged the titles as sexually explicit under school board policy and state obscenity laws.

A Tennessee Board of Education has now banned Wicked, Beloved and 35 other books as "pornography."

Under a new TN law, any description of sexual activity is "harmful to minors." Another 150 books have already been flagged for removal.
