Power came back on here around 10:15pm. We had salad for dinner, after a large fish lunch downtown.

We have friends visiting from MA, arriving Sunday. So yea, could've been worse. Had the arrived Monday, coulda been stuck on the subway.

I don’t think you could sell a script with that plot line to Hollywood, but the American people just bought it. Maybe it relates to the factoid I read recently that the average reading level in the U.S. is sixth grade. Right around Trump’s level.

I’m still gobsmacked by the fact that the U.S. voted for the guy who’s crowning achievement is the melding of mendacity, corruption, and incompetence. A traitor, a complete failure 6 times over as a business man, a pathological liar, yet he fails up. A comic book villain sprung to life.
