As someone who spoke at and collaborated with USIP, this is yet another sham to US foreign interests, capabilities and collaboration with our allies. Another foreign affairs institution destroyed, and notably under Marco Rubio's direction.

Vast supplies of U.S. aid remain stranded, despite State Department promises More than 60,000 metric tons of food have languished in warehouses in the United States and around the world — with expiration dates nearing on some items.

Marco Rubio: zero experience outside politics, zero wins inside it. Never built, never led—just begged, blamed, and climbed. Now presides over the collapse of USAID, foreign aid, and public trust.

Legacy = Failure. Unprepared. Unqualified. Unfit.

3/3) The Hill writes that, in March, "the Trump administration fired USIP President George Moose & replaced the board of directors.

USIP is not a federal agency within the executive branch. It was created by Congress as a nonpartisan, independent body in 1984 that owns & manages its headquarters.
