Undertale truly launched a thousand ships. I got into pin making because I was tired of making ok shrinky dink Mettaton pins and started researching how to make enamel pins so I could make a better and longer lasting one.

I think so much of the obsession of gen ai boils down to people losing the love of the climb. The shounen manga power of a training sequence and struggling only to have a sick as hell boss fight that you conquer, but the boss fight is your end product. A loss of self reflection as well.
