Based on the previews coming out, the next... few episodes I think of Spy x Family are gonna be pretty rough, but I really appreciate that the studios seem to be going all in on what is a STRIDENTLY anti-war message from the source material. It's an important message, especially right now.

Yeah conversion aside, Final Fantasy Tactics has some of the best spritework in all of videogames so I'm glad they still generally look pretty visually appealing, that was a major worry for this edition.

"May I Ask for One Final Thing" is gonna be a great popcorn anime this season, I can tell. Seeing a gorgeous, refined noblewoman go to town on horrible people and beat them half to death with her fists is a lovely premise and I'm so here for it.

That app has honestly been a godsend for my wife since her gluten intolerance, while thankfully not full-blown Celiac, is enough to make her sick for the rest of the day if she eats any.

I think we did, yeah! Always happy to help you get set up just let me know! We've actually done two Bleach games in our core design group, one test game in development where I did American Reapers/Jazz musicians in the 1920's and my co-creator ran a modern ensemble with a Valkyrie as the Reaper.

We can do this in Valor really easily! The system was originally conceived after I spent months making a D20 Bleach mod and eventually got fed up with D20 entirely and decided to just make my own system instead.

Ahhhhh! So exciting congrats!

In our case, the Valor co-creator is a programmer as their day job and they coded a full API that they scaled back to make an official character sheet so we very much just benefited from their side project.

Got to get into Ivalice Chronicles a bit, it's been really nice hearing Ben Starr in a more villainous role, he managed to pack a lot of quiet menace into even early-game Dycedarg's line delivery which I just adore.

After the joke that was Lerny in stage 2 I see Supergiant greatly rectified that. Sirens got hands

Hades II feels great to play, the new mana system is interesting in how it changes the overall gameplay but it's not so much of a deviation that the game feels alien. Just a nice advancement on top of all the new weapons and boons. The game is just as much fun as the original.

This long boy is Leo, our other star child. Like his brother he had originally been Leviathan, Levi for short, so we shifted his name sound slightly. Like Ori, Leviathan is now his middle name, reserved for being used as part of his full name when he's being naughty.

This adorable floof is Orion. His prior mother had given them all goetic demon names and he had been Belphegor but nicknamed Ori, and since he knew the name we didn't want to change it too much. Belphegor has become his middle name, to be used in full sequence when he's being naughty.

I'll be taking a field trip soon to one of our local hydroelectric dams since one of the first big projects I'll be involved in is setting up a contract for a huge 3-year floodgate retrofit. Exciting stuff!

Celebrating a bit of a personal win, I had until recently been working for a luxury home builder which was an... experience. They were going full RTO and I snagged a job with our local woman-owned clean energy-focused utility company which has a lot of remote flexibility and a good mission.

Would still love to have you on for it mind, it would have just also been nice to be able to meet you for brunch and discuss it in person!
