Same here! My first experience of Sega Rally was the PC version, using arrow keys on the clunky 90s keyboard… I was 8 years old, it’s all I had access to 😂 So I too stuck with AT for the longest time as it was all I knew and felt comfortable with. But switching to MT has been quite the awakening 😁

MT is a lot faster, so eventually it becomes easier to put in good lap times compared to using AT, even if at first it seems a little awkward.

Yep, I always wished they would make a port of the Model 2 game but updated with the the replays and CD quality audio from the Saturn/PC versions. The end credits theme in particular, My Dear Friend Rally with Takenobu Mitsuyoshi’s vocals is a joyous relief after the intense Lakeside run.

Agreed! If anything Sega Rally Championship is criminally underrated! It doesn't get even half the love that Daytona USA does. It has one of the best physics+handling models which are synonymous to the brilliant track designs. Every corner and every bump and crest is a joy. Still play it to this day
