Lexical retrieval difficulties in post-COVID-19 syndrome: Insights from verbal fluency and naming tasks β MarΓa GonzΓ‘lez-Nosti et al.
"the central challenge in PCS appears to be associated with the lexical selection process, and this challenge is particularly pronounced among younger patients. The linguistic profile observed in PCS more closely aligns with a form of pure anomia, wherein patients encounter difficulty when accessing and retrieving specific words from their lexical store.

Long COVID Is Harming Too Many Kids. They Need Help.
Pediatric long COVID is more common than many thought, and we keep letting kids be reinfected with new variants

This looks like the game where people take turns drawing line segments. When you finish a square, you put your initials in it. The one with the most squares at the end wins. We used to play this in class with a *very* boring professor.

The requirement forces Oklahoma teachers to "reference" the role of the Ten Commandments in America's founding, so as a historian & teacher, let me offer this suggestion:

A new discovery about carbon dioxide is challenging decades-old ventilation doctrine
CO2 is a good proxy for how much exhaled β and potentially infectious β air is in a room. New research suggests the more CO2 there is, the more virus-friendly the air becomes.
It's not just COVID, we could make SUCH A DIFFERENCE if we improved indoor air ventilation. Because it turns out a virus LOVES high CO2.
It is still baffling to me how our society managed to turn COVID into personal masking decisions and not BETTER BUILDINGS.

COVID offers three possible paradigm shifts. If theyβre true, and if we actually accept them, so much changes:
- Much of disease transmission is airborne
- The biggest impact of viruses is chronic disease
- Virus exposure harms, not helps, immune systems
