I didn’t realize I had this on my PS5 for free for like 6 months, and OH MY GOD IT WAS SO FUCKING GOOD! Like, absolute pure joy to play. And admittedly the only time I’ve ever platinum’d a game by just playing it incessantly because it was fun and not because I was trophy hunting.

I’ll never understand the energy people will put into hate. I’ve never hated a game, but there are plenty that just don’t click with me: to me, movement in the Darksiders games feels like the MCs are wearing concrete boots despite being gods, but I can still be happy when other people enjoy them.

If you’re in the east of Northern Ireland, I’ll be telling a story at this in Downpatrick on the 21st of August. It’s been a few years since I’ve got up on stage so I’ll be very rusty but it’s for a good cause. Loads of other better performers than me on too so it’ll be a good night.
