I wanted to re-share this piece that I wrote, because I have a lot of center-to-left Dems that follow me that want to understand.

There are very good reasons transgender people do not like Gavin Newsom.

Newsom will be the guy the DNC will rally behind because he "stands up to Trump" and "can work with both sides of the aisle," but it's really because he is a Republican in sheep's clothing. He hates the unhoused. He doesn't understand transpeople. He's going to be the "lesser of two evils."

Anytime a furry is confused about how anthros can coexist in a world with non-anthro/non-sapient animals, I just think of this meme:
