17.02.2026 01:16 — 👍 28 🔁 6 💬 0 📌 0No they don’t but it took time & extra money to recently find a new washing machine with a simple microprocessor board and drive parts functionally similar to something reliable made decades ago. Cheaper options had Bluetooth pairing & required an app! Enshitttttty city is how they make things now.

16.02.2026 07:58 — 👍 24 🔁 1 💬 4 📌 0One great thing though is it’s made for what the showrunner says is a 1/4 the budget of the other Game of Thrones, & to be fair this doesn’t even exist without the original show. But the scoping down, intimacy & continuity of character, and focus on personal stakes is what makes for the best tv.

15.02.2026 21:02 — 👍 49 🔁 13 💬 5 📌 0Not a fan of Truffaut, just pointing out he was there took part and is in the footage. Truffaut talked shit about Varda’s first film then stole all the smart observations about it from Chris Marker in his published review. Godard has stood for & documented Palestine since the 1970s.
