Six decades

Schitt’s Creek is one of those shows I think about on a weekly basis, it was mentioned in a work meeting this week, and I was just listening to a local news podcast where the host had a dog named Moira Rose. I take comfort in knowing Catherine O’Hara will continue to live rent free in so many minds.

A kid at my high school grew up in Southie and once told me that his dad used to make him and his brother sit in the spot while they made grocery runs during storms because “someone could move my chair, but they probably won’t run over a kid.” PROBABLY.

I was considering skipping a birthday party today because I’m exhausted and wanted to do some storm prep, but having just spent 2 hours surrounded by people who readily agree with me and my values, within my deeply safe bubble, is the only thing keeping me from feeling entirely hopeless right now.

I did terribly playing along with Jeopardy tonight, but my proudest moment was guessing The Green Mile before the question was even on the screen.

Waking up and having to immediately delete and uninstall TikTok before even having a sip of coffee was not how I expected to start my morning, but here we are.
