A new RTC soldered on to an old 486 motherboard. My soldering is terrible, mostly. Cross your fingers it works.
Pottering along with some old 486 repairs. New RTC and some trace fixes this time. I'm not too familiar with computer repair so this is an education.

My trusty old Zed R16 is now more kaput than i can really be arsed with. Goodbye old friend.
14 years of excellent service but now beyond economic repair, not least because Firewire is about 85 years out of date. Time for a change. Which annoyingly means finding a shit load of money. Sigh.

A cluster of thimble sized mushrooms in grass, yellow stalked, conical tops, with a dusty brown texture. They've been nibbled by beasties.
Any #mycology fans here? I'm new to this and haven't been able to ID these two. The first two pics are a #mushroom found in a deciduous woodland clearing, the third is a little cluster half eaten by beasties in my garden (both northern UK).

I have no idea what this mushroom is. But it's palm sized, and looks like a good place to live.
There were seven of them in a cluster!
These are two tiny parasol shaped mushrooms. Spindle and smol. I have no idea what they are.
More trying spindle ones but canary yellow!
Having all these different mushrooms on my garden makes me way more excited than literally anything else in my life rn tbh.
