Remembering Carl Switzer, #botd in Paris, Illinois, in 1927. Best known for playing Alfalfa in the Our Gang shorts, Switzer went on to appear in numerous pictures, including It's a Wonderful Life and his last film, The Defiant Ones. He died at the age of 31 after being shot during an argument.
