One of the issues was I asked it for an analysis method for oxygenates in biomass fast pyrolysis oils. Anyone would, relatively quickly, come back with the NREL LAP from here www.nrel.gov/bioenergy/bi.... It wanted to do LLE, SPE cleanup, silation, GCxGC-TOF instead of just NREL's dilute & shoot.

It has the enthusiasm of a co-op student who read a sample prep and derivatization handbook over the summer before starting work... It wants to hit everything with a silation agent and "maybe run it on a GCxGC-TOFMS" was the solution to every analytical question

I played with it a bit, I asked analytical chemistry questions and it added some little errors into the responses. Nothing awful, but certainly not PhD level work.
