Another game of Fire & Stone. After initially progressing quickly the siege gets stuck after the Ottomans have taken the covered way. The game ends with a desperate attack through the middle against the curtain wall. Ottoman victory by a hair's breadth. Down to the final dice role. #boargames

Model river. Based on wallpaper. Water painted with acrylics. Banks made with sand and green fleece.

Finally finished my river Trebia for Strength and Honour. Main points were that I wanted it to have no seams and to lie really flat. Its made from wallpaper; painted with acrylics and glued on sand, fleece anf fine flock. Might add water effect on top at some point.

It does. The most detailed I managed to do was basically horizontal stripes, by painting multiple layers but leaving out the lowest part for the later layers.
That or kind of dabbing on a dot for a face or a helmet.

Thanks. The base and the "miniatures" are 3d printed with a filament printer. They do need some cleanup when they come out and they have many imperfections, but bright colors hide many sins.

2mm miniature bases. Carthaginian army including, cavalry, closed order infantry and warband bases.

Here are my 2mm Carthaginians for Strength & Honour. Including close order Punic spearmen with attached elephant and skirmisher strips and Punic cavalry in close order and Numidian cavalry in open order.

Game board oft Teraforming Mars. The Green player has many forests and cities, while the yellow player only has one City and few forests.

Played Terraforming Mars for the first time. I like how it's very easy to have very different strategies. I used a lot of buildings and generated a lot of heat and oxygen, while my opponent went mostly for microbes, plants and animals. #boardgames

It's taken just over a year, but the @warlordgames.com Epic British and French Napoleonic starter sets are complete! There's a few extras in there as well, including the Imperial Guard, Highland infantry, Light Infantry, Brunswickers and some 3D printed support. Full video showcase coming soon!
