I saw David Suchet at the start of the pre-London tour and it (sort of) worked. I gather, though, that as the run went on he became more and more panto dame, perhaps inevitably. I just can’t see Stephen Fry doing it well, rather like George Orwell’s comment about dogs!

I have always thought that pink furry feet are essential when dancing Tchaikovsky! 😂

Therefore people born overseas are less likely to be in jail than people born in the UK.
That should be the headline.

This is what Leveson needs to be fixing, not the setting up of a bowdlerised version of the Crown Court without a jury!
