They had stairs, too!* So did another friend I stayed with the 1st night. As long as they're sturdy! I went to 2 restaurants where the last step down my foot went into the floor. 1 only a dent, t'other a bit scarier - bathrooms down there, and I couldn't even get to the toilet for the floor rot.

Or the unattended kids & teens being cruel and nonsensical by way of being deprived of guidance by their families, who let TV/Internet babysitter fill in because they had to be working 3 jobs to keep everyone sheltered and fed. Meanwhile little/no funding for community activities that support kids.

"Touch grass." Eat my entire butt. You are blaming people at the wrong end of the problem. You aren't even directing it at rubes who - secure day to day, have lives, friends - choose to hate online for jollies. Feeding on drama online instead of going to therapy.

You let the narrative - even at the most liberal and "woke" end - be shaped by decades of hate and fear sowing propaganda, shaming and complaining and directing your disdain at people who do not have the resources you do.

Part of the problem here is not redirecting your energy to target people creating a need for connection online because it's not available locally. Even then, online spaces are important and need respect and protection for the tools they are with human connection and information sharing.

Because "going to another service" is not working, every jump people vanish, every jump people are less engaged, every different place to go for a different function means less coherence overall and people disengage.

And every "big ideas" boss and every investor will ruin things eventually.

Another day, another dozen ableist views of "internet" "social media" activities.

Say that you don't care who ends up isolated, who looses their communities, who looses their data-based records and recourses, who looses cherish memories of loved ones who are far away - say it with your full chest.

This was also made clear in the past! I don't expect perfection and 10,000% purity, but I expect to see an effort to learn and try.

I've seen enough of y'all following people actively doing harm & supporting the corrupt systems we're seeing in action now. For *YEARS*. "It's my job to follow..." doesn't hold up when you are not tech illiterate and could do it on a burner account for *work*. I'm so tied, y'all make me feel unsafe.

I cannot stress it to you enough how surrounded we are by those who do harm, how free and supported they are. Did you vote for this private (rich) citizen to be having this influence on everybody else for only his own personal interests?

I use them to avoid handwashing SO much - most soaps cause eczema or dry peeking skin - to avoid cross contamination, handling things that are difficult to wash from my hands (greasy, oily things, etc.), things likely to leave smells that won't come out, and breading fried foods to avoid club hands.
