And what about your red lines?

Why is it all up to a handful of people in a bipartisan, csptured engagement? This was specifically feared and called out by the founding fathers, was it not?

What if instead we went straight to the pockets - straight to their power, and set our red lines?

Can sociopaths be reframed? This feels more like a time we need to establish law; an agreement and framework between the many on what happens when the few powerful harm the whole, capture, and abuse. We need something that not only sticks, but is persistent, beats them at their game- which we can do

"Subscription cancellations scare Wall Street more than protests" β€” what if boards (and the pension managers) could see exactly how many people were committed before they made the decision?

Should something like this exist?

One cycle win is great, but we need LAW, from the people. Whatever form.

Yes. And the answer to all; what the people decide.

Revolution happened in now US and France roughly the same time, and other countries a bit before and after. Tryanny couldn't keep up with the use of one of the greatest inventions of all time. We are at the cycle (~200yrs) with a new chance.

"Get the receipts, or it repeats."

We think there is value in having the actions on record, witnessed, historical, and ready to act fast for the next thing, next sector, next location.

Or maybe things will get better - but I've yet to see a corrected system stay corrected without a new 'law'.

Sure, Disney reveresed their decisions from 7M peopel doing the same.

But this could be a waste, or worse, conditioning if we cannot do it more effectively, less eneryg, at scale.

That is what a group of us are exploring anyway.

Big Tech Boycott February 2026: Scott Galloway's 'Resist and Unsubscribe' Campaign Targets Amazon, Apple, Google, and Meta NYU professor Scott Galloway launches 'Resist and Unsubscribe,' urging consumers to cancel subscriptions at 10 tech giants throughout February to pressure CEOs with Trump's ear.

NYU professor Scott Galloway launched a month-long boycott targeting Amazon, Apple, Google, and OpenAI. His bet? Subscription cancellations scare Wall Street more than protests. One tech giant already divested from ICE contracts.

Demanding receipts, firing contractors β€” you're already making this bigger than one person's shopping list. And if people three states away could stack onto that same pressure without even having a store near them? We believe this is possible..

A letter that didn't name ICE, didn't name the people killed, and their employees had to walk out to protect themselves. "Never shopping there again" β€” but what happens in six months when the headlines move on? How does "never again" actually stay never?

We'll be using your list to help us ceate a baseline for our project. Thanks. Would love to get in touch, get your feedback. (we are focused on just the 'turn-off' aspects, so this is good helper to those hesitating).

You're right it's transactional β€” they get tax breaks and deregulation, the regime gets their platforms and their silence. Where do you even start drawing that line when half the products people use daily are from the same handful of companies?

06.02.2026 12:41 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 1    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

You listed phone call, email, review, cancel β€” but what happens when you move on to the next thing? Does the cancel stick, or do most people just re-subscribe when the news cycle moves?

We're exploring solutions to this, and need discussion.

Phil Knight bankrolling ICE militia in his own city and people are still buying Jordans without a second thought. The gap between "live our values with our dollars" and actually doing it is just information β€” and right now nobody has it in one place.

If we can be more impactful why hold back?

If you keep asking the bully to kindly stop, while still giving him money, he will come back.

Standing up is promise - action to confirm it is real - repeat statment to not do it again.

Execs get fired for preventable events, not slow reposnses.

We just opened a Bluesky, but we're trying to get this guy's attention - we'll build the platform in like a week if there was enough interest. Something that would last -constant threat and waning not just one time thing. We're ready, we jsut need enough people to say YES, OF COURSE.

Or Disney. But let us multiple it by 100 - what if we could set lines on all corps, have it hit them at the same time and send a signal we cna now do it to any bottom line? Bring ethics back to the board room (if it was there, that is debated). Make it easy, coordinated, persistent?

What if "cancel a subscription" wasn't a one-time gesture but a permanent commitment β€” set your values once, and when a company crosses the line, it happens automatically?

Should something like this exist?

A group of us have already started, but we need real discussion on what WILL be used.

"The EXACT SAME THING happened to me" β€” what if that sentence & photo triggered an automatic pattern match? Entry to class action? 4,721 others documented it. Legal firm notified. Class action threshold at 94%. - for any of the bs the large guys pull.

Should something like this exist?

"Local" TV news:

70 ABC affiliates are owned by 2 companies.

When they made one decision, 23% of American households couldn't watch Kimmelβ€”even after Disney brought it back.

Local isn't as local as it sounds.

8 times in 50 years.

That's how often the FCC has enforced "news distortion."

A policy used that sparingly should be invoked with cautionβ€”not as a threat.

Five Days 7.1 million people did the same thing at the same time. Nobody told them to.

77M votes is only 22.7% -at the teime of election - beyond that it seems we're talking about states rights (much lower % in California). The rule is 3.5% is needed for change. 10% tipping. 25% blocking for most systems. But yes, the giant is large, the enemy is sizeable. Good faith arguments here.

India was freed from one lawyer walking back and forth, humbly, while they were fully occupied. But it wasn't just about the walk - it was about a clear signal of unity, and action. First steps here is to track everything, then unify. Then, identify the actions and take them at once in soliderity.

7.1 million cancellations.
At $14/month average.

That's $99 million per month.
$1.2 billion per year.

Investors responded: $6.4 billion wiped in 5 days.

That's what it cost to cross the line.

but... making us all live in fear while they play with our lives without any recourse IS their creative projects... maybe it's the only way they can feel being human?

03.02.2026 19:14 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Yeah. Helpless alone makes sense. Different in numbers though. We have more options than just reading the news: we can respond intelligently, and at once - and make it easy to do so... some are already on it...

Same journey here. The en masse part is the key. Finding the others changes things. Like 7M+ people... with what happened to Disney. This is possible, it is less difficult than voting - it's jsut joining. Some of us might be trying to solve this problem ATM.

03.02.2026 19:07 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Yeah. And when enough regular people do it together, it matters more than governments. If a lot of people do it at once... instead of trickle - maybe that would have a stonger effect.. as it stands, the virus has enough time to mutate.
