All it needs is one little push - preferably from us - and this once peaceful island will explode. It may not take much, maybe an article with some badly researched facts, maybe some exaggerated and provocative hyperbole, and before we know it there'll be blood on the streets, and flames too, as millions of furious citizens attack each other, the police, and the emergency services, not to mention the armed forces should they tragically be called in to deal with the hate-filled mob rampaging through our cities, towns and villages, armed with burning torches and pitchforks, calling for justice, free speech and the immediate death of everyone they don't like. (Top journalism, Ed). Make no mistake, if Britain even exists by next week, we will run this piece again until someone sparks the tinderbox on the brink of the powderkeg that... No one sums up the utter shamelessness of the British press and the ugly politics of Farage quite like Private Eye.

@timsenior.bsky.social asked the question in 2012 [which I confess I overlooked at the time] :
How can music be used in med ed ? - or something similar
Great question - and here's a starter :
Peter Grimes and child protection [and much else besides]
Any other thoughts out there?

Farage promises to build more jails by Our Reform Correspondent Nick Money BRITAIN'S next prime minister, Nigel Farage, has vowed to expand the prison service to deal with the increasing lawlessness in Broken Britain. Farage said it was imperative that we have more prisons to accommodate law-breakers such as Reform MPs. Said Farage, "No, let me finish! We are looking at hundreds more Reform MPs after the next election, and with our vetting systems we are guaranteed to have a vast number of criminal members of Parliament, who have stolen public money or pushed their girlfriends down the stairs." When asked how much all this would cost, the Reform leader explained in great detail that he didn't have a clue and couldn't care less. Farage also promised to send the worst offenders to El Salvador, following a successful pilot programme sending Reform supporters to live in Dubai.
When so much of the media rolls out the comfy red carpet for Farage, Private Eye trips him up and milkshakes him.
Be more Private Eye.

On the continuing ineptitude of #tory MPs
If so, then what happens to these individuals on joining a Tory cabinet?
Because their collective decisions have been almost universally appalling

Totally agree David
Itβs not credited often enough what a sea change this cabinet is - a real watershed
The contrast with Cameronβs entitled incompetents is stark
