I sustain my opinion - while I'm still annoyed by how insistent the google play games sign in pop-up is (I don't want to sign in), and the touch controls are still a learning curve compared to a controller, this is a well executed, pleasant twist on the runner type game.

sounds like a decent fix though might cause overlap - from what little I know of your game it sounds like another reasonable fix would be to make sure that either the turn-around code only runs once per tick, or it detects when it's stuck between two objects and stops processing for a few ticks
