app.thestorygraph.com/profile/star... storygraph gives you some fun stats and overviews of your reading habits which i like too. i've been trying to aim for a minimum of 12 books a year (ideally more!)

yeah!! its goodreads. i use that and storygraph (if you prefer to avoid amazon). they both have their strengths and weaknesses so i'm on both, i find storygraph better for discovering new things to read though

Devastating for scientists and their research, and everyone who benefits from that research.

I’m not sure if everyone outside academia is aware that a delay or “pause” in grant funding often means the researchers themselves are lost from the field, along with their expertise.
