I was encouraged to hear some DPS staff acknowledge not that long ago and in front of an audience that South High is a complete safety disaster that needs to be addressed, but who knows how long that will take.

Our view: Columbus needs better public transport. Vote yes for LinkUS' bus rapid transit. Franklin County's bus rapid system won't be a silver bullet but is a good start for Columbus and surrounding communities.

What's most terrifying about this is that it's scenario that anyone who regularly rides a bike is familiar with. So often when one driver is courteous, it is greeted with aggression and recklessness by the annoyed driver behind them.

I once parked a car2go vehicle in front of a house in Clintonville and was told by the occupant I was asserting white male privilege by taking "their" spot. It was about the most Clintonville thing I've ever experienced.
