If you don’t see the link between ICE and the IDF, you haven’t been paying attention. We are being asked to accept a world where whole communities are made disposable and marked for disappearance. If we accept that for anyone, no one is safe anywhere.

ICE hit our area hard again today. I spent the morning and afternoon on patrol, and then came home for Understory, the emotional and spiritual support group for activists I co-facilitate. @tanuja.bsky.social was going to cover for me, but I decided I needed to be there, for my sake. I was right.

Seeing pictures of an abandoned tamale cart in Pilsen where ICE took a tamale street vendor. Those photos of left behind carts are so haunting. Community members disappeared. Not just vendors but people who have long standing relationships with the community and people.

2 years of genocide. I mourn the dead, and I mourn the living. None of us will ever be the same, none of us should ever be the same.

I don't think people are concerned enough about the fact that the majority of people in the world have objected to this genocide for nearly 2 years and nobody in power cares one bit. They're conditioning us to do what we're told. This isn't just about Palestinians. Just wait until the next pandemic

I feel like I’m leading two parallel lives. In one, I’m fine. I’m leading a comfortable bourgeois life, I’m healthy, I have food and shelter. In the other, I’m watching the worst horrors, I can barely breathe, I’m screaming into the void, and nothing seems to help. Unbearable.

Israel has been murdering Palestinian truth tellers for 8 decades. The journalist, the poet, the novelist, the academic, the organizer, the doctor. The goal has always been to bomb and shoot its way into Palestinian silence. It has never achieved victory. It never will.

I never imagined we would be here in this worst stage of the genocide, as Israel starves our loved ones in Gaza. 💔

agrowingculture 3 hours ago 2/5 This morning, Israeli forces raided and demolished the Seed Multiplication Unit of the Union of Agricultural Work Committees' (UAWC) national seed bank in Hebron. Using bulldozers and heavy machinery, the Israeli army destroyed the storage warehouses and infrastructure where essential equipment, seed materials, and tools for indigenous seed reproduction were kept. This is not just an attack on a building-its an attack on Palestinian food sovereignty, biodiversity and cultural memory.

Israel destroyed a Palestinian seed bank today. This is such a specific kind of evil, targeting literal hope for the future. Attempting to further alienate Palestinians from their home and land. So much destroyed just for the sake of destroying. It's awful.
