As one of her constituents I’d be very surprised if she lost her seat to anyone - it’s true that her majority of over 30,000 was reduced last year but there are far easier targets for Polanski. My big fear is that brilliant MPs like her will step down because of the vile abuse they suffer.

I still can’t believe that Farage’s act of treachery in front of the entire world has gone unpunished - in October in Washington he exhorted Trump to impose sanctions on the UK: this was a betrayal of the people he is elected and paid to represent. He IS a traitor.

Jacob Rees-Mogg like Rishi Sunak has registered all his assets in tax havens, because they don't 'belong' to him in the UK they aren't taxed here.

So his tax bill is negligible, he doesn't need to leave to dodge tax.

This con needs to be stopped.

I’m old, likely to need the NHS/social services more than the working population who are funding it, therefore WANT to pay 2p in the pound extra tax if ring-fenced for that purpose: I am by no means rich but I am a patriotic citizen for whom civilised public services are essential.

I think the past has brought the present into sharp relief.
