Chris, if I remember correctly that $5m exit fee was part of an amended bylaws agreement that Nevada never signed as part of the last ditch effort by Benson to keep the conference together. I believe the bylaws before this had a lower exit fee (~$2m?).

This is what happens when you privatize government services. The Humane Society should stick to what they’re good at - fundraising. The County had these contracts until they were undercut by the Humane Society who ended up raising their costs in the end and now hold the cities hostage.

I’m ok with tariffs but not at that level, that quickly. We don’t have the workforce, materials, factories, etc to shut out the world and make everything ourselves overnight. I gave it 2 months and Trump didn’t even follow through. Bad leadership and now broken relationships w/our allies. For what?

I apologize if I mischaracterized you as a Trump supporter. You just sounded like every MAGA bot on Twitter criticizing somebody who’s giving an unbiased analysis and opinion on the market/economy. It’s either “tariffs are great, who cares about our 401ks” or “tariffs are bad, art of the deal!”.

I have a MS in Finance, a CPA and investing for 20+ years, I think I understand the stock market. Not talking specifically about the stock market, I’m focused on the stupid tariffs and the economy. Maybe instead of asking how much I lost, focus on what others gained through market manipulation.
