Thinking of changing the lens on my gopro hero 4 to be less wide like 28mm equiv. or so

Actioncams use an M12 thread, while C-mounts is an M25.4 thread. So technically, this lens is designed for action cameras since it's an M12 lens. They are also used for machine vision cameras, CCTV, and technical cameras. There are both zoom lenses and prime lenses available on Aliexpress.
