Art piece of a drawing of a black panther emerging from behind fern like plants. The animal is created against a black background by small white dots creating its shape. It has long white whiskers and yellow eyes and looks fierce.
Today's theme for #JanuArty is shadow...
I enjoyed trying to create this mysterious person emerging from the shadows with a minimum of dots. #art

Hi everyone! I've had some large emergency medical bills, both animal and human, lately so if you've ever thought about buying one of my books or some of my art, now would be a fantastic time to do so!
Here's a little thread of what's on offer...

I spent about 15 minutes turning this around in my head while attempting to meditate this morning . . . time well spent.
Wrote it down, looked again, and changed "landscape" to "silence."

A poem by Langston Hughes titled "Tired". It reads as the following: "I am so tired of waiting, Aren't you, For the world to become good And beautiful and kind? Let us take a knife And cut the world in two -- And see what worms are eating At the rind."
I've been thinking about this poem by Langston Hughes recently and although it was published in 1931, it remains relevant as ever.
