redistricting in the USA seems mired in centuries past. In my mind it should be done using an national algorithm that make the districts a regular rectangle or even a hex. State legislature should have little or no say.

Masked and unidentified people claiming to be ICE agents could as easily be domestic terrorists as actual government employees. Anyone they encounter or are abducting has no way to know the difference. Like today's Police in most cities, ICE should be unmasked, and wear body cameras.

I think this article just about nails it. Microsoft has no way forward for windows and is floundering, but needs to show investors it is still growing and increasing profits.

The newsweek article is a very depressing take, not sure it is wrong.

I have been struggling with the end of windows 10. I have a not
-that-old gaming pc that won’t update to 11 because the cpu is not the approved list (but slower cpus are). Seems like planned obsolescence.

Thinking seriously of going back to Linux.
