The art is gorgeous and the story's complete. There's a big shift in the story's focus at one point but it works in its favor as an overall story. Lots to say about the perpetuation of violence and how hard and worthwhile it is to cultivate things in spite of those difficulties.

I'm not sure I see the point but I have a more cavalier attitude to posting art online. Once you post something digitally you do it with the knowledge that you're giving up a lot of control on what people do with it for the ease of sharing it.

I think critics shot their load about the unique possibilities of webcomics far too early, focusing exclusively on technical possibilities like infinite canvas and multimedia storytelling. Cultural interest peaked and moved on, and missed the longitudinal literary features of webcomics.

So my mom has just… not had many good days the past few years. Her depression has made it tough to see how beautiful & perfect she is. Part of why I moved in aside from caretaking for my dad was to help her rediscover herself.
