How is the AI smart enough to churn out the letter but not include the pub date?

Here is my revision pattern: draft 1 —ugh, this is awful, I have to rewrite the whole book (four weeks to revise); draft 2 — wow, this is so much better than I remember; everything is going to be fine (four days to revise); draft 2 — what the what??? this monstrosity is a mess (two weeks to revise).

Canvased today out on Long Island for Laura Gillen, and the bus got a pep talk from Kathy Hochul before we left the city. Was it a neat surprise? Sure. Did I want to lambast her over congestion pricing? Oh, man, yeah.

At the rooftop pool at the TWA hotel overlooking the runway with two figures buried under towels in the foreground shivering because they're wet and it was so darn cold out.

Quick overnight to the TWA hotel at JFK because it fell into our laps. Embarrassing conversation in the elevator this morning when people assumed we were fellow travelers and asked what exciting destination we were off to. "Uh, we live 20 miles west of here."

Seems reasonable.

I found a pharmacist who agreed to call my insurance. She found out that I had to get specific medical benefit #. So I did—after frustrating 10 mins on phone w/ agent who swore the # didn't exist & I couldn't call the provider line to get it myself. I finally persuaded her to call for me. And lo!

I did! I went to 3 listed by insurance as taking the plan. No dice. At one point, I called 311 and found a pharmacy that gives free shots to kids without insurance. But! To be eligible, I would have to say my kids don't have insurance. So insurance fraud?? It has been a wild ride.

They make it so hard! Glad you persisted and got your shot.
