Sad that that Star Trek: Strange New Worlds will end after five seasons. Happy that season three is starting soon.

I'm sure the aircraft would need stripping down to the airframe to install all the modifications, so it's not exactly going to be any cheaper or less time consuming as completing the two aircraft currently being converted, unless, as you already said, corners are cut and systems omitted.
