My own meds were questioned weeks ago. Been on same meds for yrs. Glad they're all double checking but docs could now be lowering doses so it doesn't blow back on them

I've had 4 kids so I know my way around simple meds. I know 5ml won't offer pain relief for a 30kg child. I feel for new parents. There is no handbook & you rely on expert advice. Our health system is clearly suffering from trust issues.

Pharmacies r scrutinising every script in light of the tragic death of a baby recently,which is good. 2day I took mr11 to doc.He weighs 30kg's.Script from doc for Neurofen was 5ml.Pharm ?'d his weight bc age vs weight vs dose. They can't change it. Doc being cautious so looks like it falls on parent
