Neurodivergence is being mocked your whole life for being "weird" because you're different, then after years of social trauma finally learning to embrace your differences only to be told "everyone is like that, you're not special" ππ€¦ββοΈ

Senators on the brink of retirement who lived full, wealthy lives and never feared the loss of their own healthcare voting for their constituents to die from their inability to afford the same is treasonous

Tuesdayβs elections were NOT about the Democratic Party.
They were about candidates focusing on the wants and needs of their constituents; about new leaders prepared to fight; about representation in every sense of the word.
Party leaders havenβt absorbed this yet.

okay, so, with Dems successfully keeping anyone up in 2026 for voting for this turd let's take a look at who's up in 2026 anyway:
1. Cory Booker - apparently involved behind the scenes, constantly looking for bipartisanship. I don't dislike him personally but he doesn't have what we need. Primary.

Regular reminder that Axios stories saying Dems are about to cave are likely sourced from GOP staffers trying to make it happen.
Doesn't mean it definitely won't happen. But it's like those NYT stories that Harvard is considering caving (they haven't). The anonymous source was trying to manifest it.

The Coming Swell of Scientists-Turned-Politicians
Instead of trying to depoliticize science, they're running for office.
By Katherine J. Wu
"Politics came for us," Andrews said. "You can't fight bad politics by staying apolitical."
Andrews is running to unseat Lindsey Graham in the U.S.
Senate, but she said she has found success in casting Kennedy
-arguably the country's most polarizing health secretary to date-as an opponent, too: "The more I speak out against the absurdity of RFK Jr. and his recent actions, the more traction I am getting."
DR. ANNIE
ANDREWS
Politics came for healthcare and the only way to fight back is by getting political.
So proud to be one of many doctors running for office this cycle and so grateful for @314action.bsky.social and their support. πΊπΈ

As an aside, my husband works at a therapy practice that is reimbursed by Medicaid. But the Medicaid goes through one insurance company, which then pays another insurance company (?) that THEN pays the practice. But the second insurance company just stole all the money and disappeared
