Radar cast has become noticeably less reliable in relation to reality in the last two weeks. And that's just for a few showrs passing overhead. I hike and camp and I watch those religiously they were really very accurate for about the last 6 years until now.

Update: had a brainstorm fishing this morning. Ladder has been installed and we went with more is more and just put it all up in the yard for this beautiful Easter day. The rescue kitties are loving it and the little birdies are safe to fly about as they please.

This is the latest catico setup for the rescue kitties. We haven't had any takers going down the long drop yet, just up, but I'm waiting for Adventure Kitty to get going. He hasn't had the zoomies yet today.

Please stop. There may come a time to point fingers. This moment is not that. Divisiveness is not a solution. Either get on board with solving the problems language is causing right now or don't, but this isn't helping. You can be right later.

Just went for an early morning walk and beat the hail home by about 39 seconds. That kind of timing has been happening my whole life, and still, it never fails to make me feel like I'm connected to whatever it is you want to call the common thread of the universe

Okay. This is good. Acknowledging the no win scenario is important. And that's what this is. The people screaming it's a trap from both sides are right. Now how do we form a cohesive response to the actual situation knowing that's the case? And can they do it in 12 hours?

Weaponizing "it was God's plan" to comfort someone for evil visited upon them so that you don't have to actively engage in empathy with them to "mourn with those who mourn" *and* simultaneously blaming them with that phrase for not embracing said evil as God's plan is what makes it evil. Not the lie

Do we really think she's getting paid to tell the truth at this point? She may be very good at her actual job as it had been explained to her. But I get your point.

The government is a service provider, not a business. It's job is to provide the services that we have passed into law to it's citizens. It can do *that* efficiently as good stewards of tax money, but if it stops doing that in the name of saving money, it's lost the mission.

We have to stop engaging with the idea that "business efficiency" is an appropriate value for a government to even have and change the conversation. It's not a question of how or to what degree, but is that how government serves it's constituents best? (It is not)

The government is a service provider, not a business. For government, efficiency means finding ways to spend less while providing the services the law says must be provided, otherwise it's subverting the will of the people and is illegal, regardless of its cost cutting.

This is called "ruling" not governing. He's creating chaos only he can end on purpose so that people will be beholden to him and fear him. It's working, too, in part because the media and a lot of good people can't imagine how breaking all the things leads to one point of control in a system.

He does know what he's doing. The chaos is the point if it makes him the person you have to call and beg to get relief. You still think he's trying to "govern" and is doing it poorly. He's "ruling" here, and succeeding because no one will say that's what it is.

Southern Indiana has achieved daffodils. Spring weather is upon us. May be time to learn/refresh what the barometer readings mean, so I can be the local someone could ask for a reasonable forecast at the trailhead.

It just worked for me. I have a comment tracking number and everything. Not sure who is tracking who, but time will tell.

And here I was just taking a trash bag with me like always 😉
