On the way up to Arthur’s seat, an ancient extinct volcano, in Edinburgh. Quite a climb and very, very windy but worth it for the views at the top.

St Enoch’s subway station in Glasgow. The subway system is like a mini London Underground Circle line. There’s an inner ring and an outer ring that go in the opposite directions to each other. It’s not exactly a smooth ride but it’s cheap and frequent. #photography #blackandwhite

Walking up to the mound and Edinburgh castle we came across this wonderful view that looked straight out of Hogwarts. It’s part of the University of Edinburgh and is well a look if you are in this part of the world. Not worth your time was the Royal Mile, full of cheap tourist tat.

Here is quite a nifty black and white photograph of Christmas trees outside a firework shop that used to be on Gloucester Road. It is no longer there. Think twice about opening a firework shop on Gloucester Road. Taken in 2016 with a Sony RX100 M2 and edited rather skilfully in Lightroom.

There used to be a shop, half way down the Gloucester Road, that sold fireworks all year round. In December it sold rather a lot of Christmas trees. The shop is no longer there. Here is a photo from many moons ago taken outside the shop. #photography #bnw
