I would put him on this one as most of his career and impact was in the 80s but the 1979 MVP could be a premise to include him on the classic era ballot.

Personally, I'd ditch Delgado and Fernando and switch them out with Lou Whitaker and Keith Hernandez.

That is surely the plan. I wish he vet committee had backbone enough to vote for Bonds and Clemens but I don't expect it.

The league has nothing to do with it. It's the vet committee and I doubt they let either in. Donnie Baseball is a better bet imo.

Bonds, Clemens,... and probably Kent? Without Bonds and Clemens, it would be tough to parse Mattingly, Murphy, Kent, and Sheffield.
