like when a game connects with me on that level its almost intangible? like I can't explain why or what but there are just games that make me FEEL. Whether its the plot, the characters, some boss fight, set piece, the gameplay etc... its all about what hooked me and I can't always find the words

y'all are able to articulate why you like a game? all I can ever come up with is that it made me feel something... I see these trends about games you love and why and even for my favourite games the most I could say is they connected with me emotionally or made me feel a sense of awe in some way

weeeh I went looking for the post after this but couldn't find it I don't think I liked it @_@

I do this too its why I stopped streaming non-Nintendo direct reactions to showcases since I know I get cynical and negative and I hate bringing those vibes to my streams, I'd feel compelled to comment on a game even if I had no interest since I was live and that'd result in me being overly negative

like I get it, hero shooter, concord, etc... etc... but like can we not write a game off entirely before anyone has had a chance to even try it? can we not just be instinctively negative for like no real reason

what if I did a random stream trying highguard today? game looks fun, I've seen nothing but negativity and I know people are going to go into it expecting it to be bad but what if someone maybe a lil mouse fairy decided to give it a real earnest try?
