Second side note: this isn't about anyone in particular. It all stemmed from a conversation I had at work that made me realize I'm done with women like this. Every single one.

Side note: I don't hate all men. This isn't saying that. What I'm saying is men are just people, and you gotta stop putting them above everything else in your life. Live for something besides making men your entire world.

Being a pick-me isn't cute, it's dangerous. Stop it.

You need hobbies and you need women as friends, ones who can trust you, bc you're not going to air their business to the men around them. You need to get over the thought that making men happy is the goal.

I used to center men as little as two years ago. I spent most of my life thinking finding a man was the ultimate goal bc that's how I was raised. I stayed with some of my partners despite mistreatment bc it was so important to have a dude around. If I can unlearn that, you can, too.

If your entire goal is having a man, you will stay despite the abuse, despite the bad times, despite mistreatment, etc, bc men are so important in your world. Anything for a man.

It's dangerous to do this and have female friends at the same time. If you prioritize men over your female friendships, you are putting those women in danger bc you can't keep women's confidence and they can't trust you. You are also putting yourself in danger.

For those not on TikTok, centering men means wanting nothing more in life than to be picked and liked by men. Your entire existence revolves around men, whether that's doing anything to get and keep a man, or betraying every woman around you so that men like you more than them.

I've run into too many women over the years who were like this, and I'm just tired. So, moving forward, I'm gonna need y'all to find something better to do than be obsessed with being liked by men.

No longer interested in hanging with women who center men in their life and nothing else. Get a hobby, girl.

I traded my neighbor some cardboard to use in his burn barrel for three plants. I now have more plants than anything else. I am a crazy plant lady.

I appreciate all y'all's support over the year, especially if you're subbed to the channel. You have helped me grow as a person, and achieve so much. I can't say how grateful I am. Up and onwards.

I'm doing okay. Life will be good bc I'm making it good, and I've already achieved more than I expected. Anyway, this was a feel good post bc for a while I was worried, but I'm not anymore.

With stream subs, Gunnar's partnership, and my grocery store job, I'm making it happen.

I can do anything by myself, or with the help of friends, and I prove that daily.
Yesterday I repaired a light, cleaned off the back porch, built furniture, and cleaned my house. I might have to deep clean my house myself, bc of some unexpected bills, but I'll be able to handle that today.

I saw this exact joke yesterday on a local store's joke sign. Small world.

This made me giggle.

This is actually genius.

So if you find I'm not over-sharing or confiding in you anymore, that is why. I don't need the drama. And over-sharing could get me hurt if the wrong thing lands in a bad actor's hands. Now that I'm on own, I want to be safer. Anyway.
