After a full days due diligence research into the site of static caravan for rent, checking companies house, reading planning applications, checking licensing regs, checking maps, I have concluded the site isnt licenced & has no planning permission.
So back to combing thru Zoopla every morning☹️

☹️ I suppose loyalty is a thing to be admired & he will have a loyal following back there but sad that there's so many missing out on this rather lovely, gentle & stress free, ad free, spam free, scam free, troll free & musk free platform.
But Ty for trying.

Ty, it's tough. I've realised that you often need support to access support due to all the barriers & without family, those often who need the support can't get it.
I've survived this long, I'll survive longer, but I'd rather thrive than survive.

I wish they'd ban feeding them here, I know people who put food out & train them to come to humans for food, which isn't good for the bird or good for humans or the environment. They are as verminous as pigeons & rats here in my town.

I do miss AsifAmhp, he gave such reassurance theres still some excellent practitioners to many who've had awful experiences of NHS & ASC.
I wish he would come over here.
Please do try to persuade him to join us.
Dunno what the congrats are for but seconded by me as I'm sure they're deserved.

If I've got to be stuck in the flat all next week bcos of going back on the #ADHD meds & not being able to drive for a while, at least I can play with the spreadsheet & learn more about photovoltaics.

And having a new project to hyperfocus on is pure dope for an ADHD brain 😁

Only another campervanner (or solar power enthusiast) will understand the excitement of having this data & being able to monitor day by day the amount of energy generated - all FREE!!!

Only another spreadsheet enthusiast can understand the excitement of setting up a new useful spreadsheet.

I just need to figure a way for solar panel (or additional solar panel) to keep starter battery topped up if not driven for few days as it loses voltage quickly due to stupid Ford elecs which means the interior lights & parking lights come on automatically for 10 mins every time I open a door.

The solar panel charges lithium leisure battery which powers the diesel heater, extra lights, voltmeter & usb ports in the back of the van.

It will also power a compressor type small fridge in summer, even with a low watt solar panel I'll still likely have more power during day than I can use.

It's lovely to see the figures for watt hours, watts & voltage increasing day by day as the days get longer & the sun gradually gets higher in the sky & heads northwards again.

A big difference already in less than 2 months.

There's lots more figures relating to voltage that I don't understand but I'm going to ask ChatGPT to explain. Solar generation depends on many variables so its complex.

I think the solar panel is only 100w so very little power generation but I'm planning to upgrade it before next autumn.

So I've now got a van solar history spreadsheet starting from the winter solstice on 21 Dec 2025.

On that day I got 10 watthours solar input, with a max of 7w power.

Today 55 days later, I got 110 watthours solar input, with a max of 30w power.

Imagine how many watthours I'll get midsummer!

I'm crap at maths but I do love a #spreadsheet & use them for all kinds of things (possibly an #autistic pattern recognition thing).

I'm very excited!

I've just discovered that I can download the data from the solar controller & solar panel in my little #campervan.

The hills in the background are probably about 7 or 8 miles away.

I suspect it's due to litter. In my town the litter is dreadful & council just introduced 3 weekly bin emptying with smaller bins so problem will get worse. I think most European countries are much better at not littering & also with municiplal cleaning.

Sadly I dont. No family, only been in the area 1 yr, dont know anyone. Social care refused to do care assessment despite assessed care needs where I used to live. GP difficult to access & not picking up on what I'm telling them as there's no one to confirm the probs. Need support to access support🀷

Hard to judge distance. They were about 8 car lengths away, I had to zoom in a little.

It's been a lovely morning. Sun was too bright to get more photos. Stunning day now but v chilly.

Where I live has large nature reserves & much bird activity. But I think the gulls are like pigeons, they're scavengers so it's human presence (with our lazy littering) which draws them to coastal towns, far easier to get food off the streets than in their natural habitats. They are a nuisance.

Daylight by 0715 ❀️
Although it's v cold with a bit of a frost overnight.
Snow on the fells not far north of here yesterday with some North Pennine roads being closed.
It is lovely to enjoy the quiet early morning light again before town wakes up, so badly missed it over the winter.

So there's something naughtily indulgent about kick starting the day with a swig of cold pepsi, as the effect is almost instantaneous. I know the sugar rush will result in a crash later but wtf, some days you gotta do whatever it takes.

Having been a commited Pepsi-holic (original full sugar & caff version) all my life, as without realising it was giving me the stimulation my ADHD brain needs, in recent yrs I've had to give it up for sake of teeth & blood sugar & I miss it's effects terribly.

Testing it now & no draft button visible but my phone hasn't updated for months as I don't have WiFi & I keep forgetting to do it when I'm at the library.

I have a love hate/relationship with the seagulls πŸ™„
They are comical & photogenic but strident & screechy & merciless with their prolific "droppings". And they make such a mess of the bins.
Lovely to sit in my chair & watch sunrise for the 1st time in about 4mths, despite the cackling gulls.

New drafts feature? I guess I need to update my app. That'll be useful as my stupid cheap Motorola phone refreshes every time I navigate away to a different app so impossible to post links etc without rewriting draft posts. Have lost so many posts bcos of it.

Morning ORCs, back at the flat last night & here's the one good thing about the flat, my #sunrise , much missed over the past few months due to weather & being so far south.
But finally they're heading north again & visible from my comfy chair. Today looks like being a stunner despite the cold.

Ty, this was the 1st possible opportunity since I started looking in August so I'm not hopeful & it's pretty urgent now. I'm trying not to panic but feeling v panicky as the situation I'm in is having a big negative impact on my health.

Trying to decide whether to go for a different rental property which would have been much easier with the dog but finally v stretched & various other concerns about it. I waited & worried too long & was beaten to it. 1st possible property I'd seen in over 6mths.
