I’ve lived in the UK (from the US) for 23 years. And today, twice, I thought first in cm over inches and ml over ounces for the first time ever. Is 23 years and 2 months the magic number to understand the metric system?

I wrote to a company once saying I loved their notebooks and couldn’t find them. They mailed me a box of them. They are now closed but I feel happy whenever I see those (filled) notebooks.
